Who we are

Wanner Digital Media LLC is a privately held local media company based in Kingman, Arizona, owned by publisher Matt Wanner. It is the parent company of The Standard newspaper and the Everything Kingman AZ app and websites, and it is the data controller for the apps and websites this policy covers.

Information we collect

• Information you give us. Name, email address, phone number, business details, or message contents when you contact support, submit a listing or event, send a news tip, or work with our advertising team.
• App and site activity. Screens viewed, content opened, searches, saved items, and similar usage events.
• Device and technical information. Device type, operating system, app version, browser type, IP address, approximate region, diagnostic logs, and crash reports.
• Notification identifiers. A push token, if you turn on notifications.
• Location. Only if you grant permission, and only to show nearby listings, maps, and directions. See below.
• Content you submit. Event listings, business information, tips, corrections, and other material you send us for publication or review.

How we use information

• To provide, maintain, secure, and improve our apps, sites, and publications.
• To answer support, advertising, editorial, and privacy inquiries.
• To review and publish community information you ask us to publish.
• To diagnose problems, measure aggregate usage, and prevent abuse.
• To send notifications and service messages you have enabled or requested.

Location data

Our apps may display maps, nearby listings, and directions. If an app requests device location, it does so through the operating system permission prompt, and you can decline or revoke it at any time in your device settings. Declining location does not prevent you from browsing news, events, or listings. We do not use precise location for advertising, and we do not sell location data.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

We share information only with service providers that help us operate, such as hosting, content management, email delivery, push notification, mapping, analytics, security, and crash reporting providers, and only as needed to perform that work. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights and safety of people or our company, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

Advertising

Advertising in our publications and apps is sold directly by our Kingman office and is placed by location and category, not by tracking individuals across other companies' apps and websites.

Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact privacy@wannerdigitalmedia.com and we will review and delete it where appropriate.

Your choices and rights

• Turn notifications on or off in your device settings.
• Grant or revoke location permission in your device settings.
• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction of information that is wrong.
• Request deletion of your information and, where applicable, your account. If you created an account in one of our apps, you can request deletion from within the app, or follow the instructions on our data deletion page.

To exercise any of these, email privacy@wannerdigitalmedia.com. We will not discriminate against you for making a request.

Security and retention

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. We keep information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and preserve ordinary business and journalistic records.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The effective date above shows when the current version took effect, and material changes will be posted on this page.
